Federal and State Greens MPs and the Parramatta Climate Action Network are hosting a free public meeting in Parramatta to discuss how the Carbon Price Package can benefit Western Sydney.

This is part of a wider Climate Action Package Tour Senator Rhiannon is conducting around NSW.

“We’re inviting the people of Parramatta to find out more about what a carbon price means, who will pay, why we need it and what it will achieve,” Senator Rhiannon said.

“Getting more information out there about the carbon action package is critical to counter the public scare campaign being run by Tony Abbott.

“The carbon action package lays the foundation for NSW to power into a clean energy future, creating new jobs and a big boost to the local economy.
